Burlesque was a popular pastime in the Victorian era, so what better way to spruce up your outfit than to add a burlesque skirt? Burlesque skirts are fairly versatile and they look great, adding one to your Steampunk wardrobe is definitely a must. This article will look at some of the best Burlesque skirts available.
Black Frilly Short Burlesque Skirts
This is one of my favourite burlesque skirts has a simple tutu appearance with added frills (yes, I know, added frills to a tutu?). The skirt has three layers, the top is thicker and is the only different layer, although the design is the same — sheer black mesh with a black satin effect edging at the bottom. This skirt will look great with a bunch of outfits due to its simplicity and black colour. Pair it with some fishnet tights, or stockings, or add a corset. Regardless, this skirt offers plenty of room for added extras in the Steampunk accessories department.
