Most monitors sit on a standard height desk so it would be logical to assume that they all offer some form of eight adjustment to compensate for the variations in height of different users, however this is not normally the case and most units only offer a tilt adjustment. Holding the neck at an unnatural angle can lead to all sorts of spinal problems so it is essential that ergonomics is considered when making a monitor purchase, especially for home use where we often do not have the best environment for office work.
All the monitors featured in this article have the following minimum requirements.
- 7cm heigh adjustment range
- The ability to swivel 30 degrees in both directions.
- The ability to tilt backwards by 20 degrees.
