Wig tape is a great, useful and versatile tool used by many wig and weave wearers to help them keep their hairpieces on properly. It’s essentially double sided tape that sticks on your forehead and hairline on one side, and onto the lace of your wig on the other side. It can last for up to a week, so if you’re going to wear a cosplay wig for a convention or if you have something longer in mind, wig tape will be great for you. Some products, including Walker 12 Yards Lace Front Support Tape can stay on for two weeks to a month, which is really useful if you’re travelling and don’t want to take everything with you, or if you’re going to be busy and don’t want to have to change your wig more regularly. When used correctly, wig tape will make sure that your skin, your ‘real’ hair and your wig are not damaged and you can re-apply the wig as many times as you want.
