Known for its emerald waters and towering limescale islands, Ha Long Bay is a key place to explore on any Vietnam trip. An expedition through Ha Long Bay will take your breath away as this stunning location is full of beauty and wonder. Kayaking in Halong Bay is the experience of a lifetime.

Ha Long Bay is a popular place for diving and hiking whilst also famous for being the location where Tomorrow Never Dies. Yes, that’s right, Ha Long Bay is the stunning destination featured in the 1997 James Bond movie! However, we’re not here to discuss that famous aspect of Ha Long Bay but the other one… KAYAKING!

It’s not hard to understand why Ha Long Bay is one of Asia’s top kayaking destinations. With calm waters and hidden caves, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay is an incredible place to kayak and with those scenic views, probably the most jaw-dropping.

How to get to Halong Bay

The picturesque destination is located to the North East of Vietnam and is best reached from the capital of Hanoi as several buses depart the city daily aswell as a train. Both bus and train take you to Halong City where you will catch a ferry from the pier.
